This is a shining example of what can be achieved with Black and White photography. I love the composition with the 5 starry lights peeking over the ridge, suggesting an entirely lit up world just around the corner. The reflection of light on the water could be the moon though it doesn't look round - what else could it be? The photograph simply glows with reflection.
You achieved some great Depth of Field with the foreground rocks which added some much need dimension...contrasted with the world of light beyond the ridge.
It's lovely how well the water stands out with it's texture and motion against the solid rocks. The lighting is wonderful and I love the overall effect. I like how dark you were able to portray this without losing detail or imagination.
